Luxury King Room #6 is your private hideaway on the second floor, a place where you can enjoy both the sunrise and sunset in complete privacy. Tucked into its own wing, it is the quietest room in the main inn (no shared walls with other guests), providing you a calm and secluded space to unwind. East facing windows look to our tree-lined street, and the west windows and roof top deck open to views of the pool and gardens.

Inside, you will enjoy a king-size Verlo bed with overhead dimmable reading lights, and a cozy sitting area by the gas fireplace with a 44″ smart TV and leather loveseat. The room also includes a dry bar, a retro mini-fridge, and in-room coffee and tea service so your snacks and drinks are always just a step away.

There is a bureau and a wall-mounted clothes rack for storage, and a private bathroom with a walk-in glass and tile shower with grab bars by the shower and toilet for added support. With its lower seven foot ceilings, the room feels warm and intimate, wrapping you in comfort from the moment you arrive. We like to say that the room feels like a big hug. The bedroom is approximately 353 square feet, including the 60 square foot bathroom.

Once you get settled in, go ahead and spoil yourself a little. Grab a fresh coffee or tea from the Platinum Café, snag one of the fresh baked treats, and cozy up by the fire like it’s your own private hideout. When the weather warms, claim a chaise by the heated pool, wander the rose gardens like you’re in a storybook, curl up in the gazebo with a page-turner, or pop out back to say hello to the chickens — they love visitors.

Cool evenings call for outdoor fires, where you can toast your toes and let time slow to a happy crawl. If the weather keeps you inside, the Pool Lounge has books and games to keep things fun and easy. And whenever you need ideas, Shawn, your innkeeper and concierge, is ready with suggestions for everything from whale watching to dinner reservations and tickets to the pirate museum. You will feel cared for, refreshed, and a little bit delighted with yourself.
