The seals of Monomoy are a rare treat seen close up from the shallow drafting seal watch vessel Perseverance. You will glide through narrow channels and into isolated lagoons where Gray seals swim along the shore and over the Monomoy flats. In the spring and fall you can find them relaxing on the outer beaches as well. You will spy seabirds and once in a while, the shadow of a great white shark passes by. But wait there’s more! We also tour some of our surrounding local harbors and lighthouses. There will be a naturalist on board to describe the animals you are seeing as well as the history of the area.
